Called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2005, Emma Lanlehin brings over two decades of legal experience to her role as Head of Olive Court Chambers. Her professional career encompasses experience in leading London law firms, qualification and practice as a Solicitor Advocate, and her return to the independent Bar in 2016 as a Direct Access Barrister.
Emma’s experience across both branches of the legal profession gives her a valuable perspective on litigation, advocacy and client representation. Having worked in established London law firms before and after her Call to the Bar through the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple, she developed extensive experience in legal practice, client relations and case management.
Emma’s broad legal background spans Family Law, Immigration Law, Civil Litigation, Criminal Law, Intellectual Property, Wills and Probate, Mental Health Law and Family Mediation. Her practice today has a particular focus on family law, including care proceedings, child arrangements, adoption and financial remedy disputes.
Beyond her legal knowledge and advocacy skills, Emma is recognised for her patient, empathetic and meticulous approach to client care. She combines analytical thinking and practical problem-solving with a genuine understanding of the personal challenges clients face, particularly in sensitive and complex legal matters.
As Head of Olive Court Chambers, Emma is committed to delivering clear, strategic and individually tailored legal advice and representation. Her approach reflects the Chambers’ guiding principles: Advocacy. Expertise. Commitment.
